Technora®

Technora® is the highest performing para-aramid fiber on the market today.  Technically an aromatic co-polyamide, Technora® boasts enhanced flex fatigue, thermal properties, and abrasion resistance, making it the ideal choice for the most demanding applications.

Unlike other para-aramid fibers, Technora® fiber has inherently better abrasion resistance and better resistance to various chemicals.  Technora® fibers still degrade with prolonged exposure to UV light and have the same tendency to absorb atmospheric moisture like other para-aramids, although only to approximately 2%.  Kevlar® and Alkex® do have slightly better heat-resistance in comparison to Technora®, but all of these fibers would do well in high-temperature applications.
