Medical Liability Policy and Disclaimer
By purchasing, accepting delivery of, or using any product from Rocket-Fibers, LLC, the purchaser automatically accepts and agrees to be legally bound by the terms of this disclaimer, without any further act, signature, or acknowledgment required.
1. Industrial and Aerospace Grade — Not Certified for Medical Use. Rocket-Fibers, LLC's products are manufactured and sold as industrial- and aerospace-grade materials. Rocket-Fibers, LLC does not manufacture, test, or certify any of its products as medical-grade, and makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to their suitability, safety, or fitness for any medical application, including any application involving implantation into the human body or contact with internal body fluids or tissues.
2. Customer-Determined Medical Use; Assumption of Risk. Rocket-Fibers, LLC does not prohibit a customer from using its products in a medical application; however, any decision to do so is made solely by the customer, at the customer's sole discretion and sole risk. Rocket-Fibers, LLC has not evaluated, and does not evaluate, its products for biocompatibility, sterility, or any other requirement applicable to medical devices, and undertakes no responsibility for determining whether any product is appropriate for a customer's intended medical use.
3. Limitation of Liability. Rocket-Fibers, LLC shall not be held liable for any damages including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, arising out of or in connection with any use of Rocket-Fibers, LLC's products in a medical application, whether or not Rocket-Fibers, LLC was advised of the possibility of such use or such damages.
4. Indemnification. In the event any of Rocket-Fibers, LLC's products are used in a prohibited manner as stated herein, the user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rocket-Fibers, LLC, its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, licensors, and affiliates, from and against any and all liability, losses, claims, demands, or expenses of any kind, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to such prohibited use.
5. Compliance with Law. The user of Rocket-Fibers, LLC products acknowledges and agrees to comply with all applicable international, national, state, regional, and local laws and regulations, including any laws regarding the export of data or software.

7. Third-Party Fiber Restrictions. Please contact Kuraray directly for any inquiries related to use of Vectran™ LCP Fiber in medical devices. Kevlar® fibers are not authorized for any medical applications per DuPont, the manufacturer.
8. Entire Agreement. This is a legal agreement between you, the purchaser or user, and Rocket-Fibers, LLC ("the Company"). By purchasing or using any product from Rocket-Fibers, LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this disclaimer — no signature is required for this agreement to take effect.
