Spun Kevlar®

Para-aramid construction offering higher tensile strength and enhanced cut resistance compared to meta-aramid alternatives.

Ideal for reinforced seams, load-bearing stitch lines, and applications where durability and seam integrity are critical.

Spun Nomex®

Meta-aramid fiber engineered for excellent thermal stability and inherent flame resistance without melting or dripping.

Best suited for PPE, industrial workwear, uniforms, and sewn components exposed to sustained heat and flame.

Unlike continuous filament thread, spun thread is produced from staple fibers, resulting in a softer hand, improved flexibility, and consistent performance through standard sewing equipment. This structure improves handling during sewing while maintaining the inherent thermal and mechanical performance of aramid fibers.

For specification-driven applications, these threads are commonly aligned with industry standards such as A-A-55217 Nomex® Meta-Aramid Thread Spec and A-A-55195 Mil-Spec for Spun Kevlar® Sewing Thread, supporting consistent performance in regulated and high-reliability environments.
